Harrison is a perfect 6-0 against Somers since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the Tuskers at 11:00 a.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Harrison comes in on three and Somers on six.
Harrison came out on top against Pearl River on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Huskies took their game against the Pirates 7-3.

Madison Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Miller was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, BarBara Jo Coppola was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of AlexiA CozzAli, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Harrison hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Somers made easy work of Pelham Memorial on Wednesday and carried off an 18-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tuskers, who have now won three contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.
Alyssa Pirraglia was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Kaleigh Conti was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with four RBI and one run.
Harrison pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Somers, their record is now 7-1.
Harrison was able to grind out a solid win over Somers in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-0. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Tuskers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
