It was a good run, but The Triway Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 40-10 loss at the hands of Harrison Central. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, Triway couldn't push the score so high this time.
Brayden Holt threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. Cale Drown was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards. On the ground, Vince Mariola rushed for 75 yards.
Mykel Quito was his usual excellent self, rushing for 136 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Quito hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games. Parker Hutton also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Triway now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Harrison Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Triway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Harrison Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Garfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
