South Lyon East entered their tilt with Walled Lake Western on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 18-6 win. With that victory, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

South Lyon East got a massive performance out of Ava Andruszkiewicz (2027), who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Olivia McPherson (2026) was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

South Lyon East pushed their record up to 12-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games.
