The Mart Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Wortham 35-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Mart, who have now won six matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
Mart got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was De'Montrel Medlock out in front who threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Ethan Hocking also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Mart's win was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44 points. As for Wortham, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Coincidentally, Mart and Wortham will both be playing Dawson the next time they take the field. Mart will head out to face Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Wortham will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
