Chamblee had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a set and slipped past the Riverwood Raiders 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Chamblee who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 15-7.

Cecilia Curran paced Chamblee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Curran got some help from Emma Lane and her 28 assists. Yana Barga controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chamblee's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Riverwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Chamblee will square off against Central Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverwood, they will venture away from home to face off against North Cobb Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
