Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Sodus Spartans and fell 60-33. One positive for the Black Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Marion's record is now 0-8. As for Sodus, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will square off against Williamson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion is facing Williamson at the right time seeing as Williamson is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sodus, they will challenge North Rose-Wolcott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
