Kingstree can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 53-9 win over Andrews. With Kingstree ahead 33-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.
MAKAYLA DUKES was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 steals. DUKES is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was NAYDIA SHAW, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Mullins suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Wednesday. They were dealt a 66-33 defeat at the hands of Lee Central.
Kingstree's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points per game. As for Mullins, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Kingstree against Mullins in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 51-18 win. With Kingstree ahead 30-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
