If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for IMG Academy. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Superior Collegiate at 7:00 PM on Friday. IMG Academy strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 36.8 points per game.
Two weeks ago, IMG Academy put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Northwestern as they made off with a 34-7 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-7.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Superior Collegiate's tilt against Rockledge last Friday.
IMG Academy's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Superior Collegiate's loss dropped them down to 5-1. We'll find out if IMG Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if Superior Collegiate can shake off the loss and take the spring out of IMG Academy's step.
