The Chiles Timberwolves won the last time they faced the Leon Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Chiles took down Leon 60-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chiles to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Bundrage, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. Bundrage has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Morgan, who scored nine points along with nine assists and five steals.
Chiles has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Leon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chiles will challenge North Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leon, they will head out on the road to take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Leon likes a good challenge.
