The Gulfport Admirals will challenge the Grenada Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Gulfport's win against Pascagoula wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Gulfport came out on top in a nail-biter against Pascagoula on Saturday, sneaking past 3-1. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Taevion Collier tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has become a key player for Gulfport: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-4 otherwise.
At the plate, Gulfport's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason Little, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Cooper Crosby was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grenada). Everything went their way against Cleveland Central on Friday as Grenada made off with a 12-2 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their two-run performance the game before.
Hunter Watson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Drew Klinck was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Layne Gillon, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Grenada always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Grenada pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Gulfport, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
