The Fort Collins Lambkins gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past Green Mountain 62-32 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Fort Collins, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Fort Collins was led to victory by Avery Alcaraz and Jocelyn Kramar. Alcaraz scored 18 points along with 4 steals, while Kramar scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Fry, who scored 10 points.
Fort Collins' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Green Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Fort Collins will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Colorado Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
