The win bumped Mt. Pleasant's record up to 5-3. Fort Madison are on a six-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 2-6.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Mt. Pleasant will be playing at home against Washington at at 7:00 PM next week. As for Fort Madison, they will face off against Keokuk. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
