Calabasas moved up to 546 from 574 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Marmonte - West. The Coyotes were able to move up by falling to Simi Valley 22-7.
Moorpark and Newbury Park played the most contested game in the league this week, with Moorpark eventually emerging with a 27-24 victory.
Thousand Oaks's dynamic duo of CASE COOKUS and KEVIN HOWELL proved to be unstoppable against Royal, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. COOKUS threw for 241 yards and 6 touchdowns and HOWELL had 131 yards receiving. NICK JULIER helped Thousand Oaks' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 41 yards.
He went 17-24 with 0 interceptions.
Brandon Dawkins provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Oaks Christian fell to Westlake. He completed 15 passes for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 127 yards. Dawkins' favorite target this week was Jeremy Vincent, who caught 5 passes for 108 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Lions' Dawkins and Chris Davis have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Dawkins has thrown for 3,124 yards this season, while Davis has 83 catches for 1,541 yards. Sean Bar from Agoura leads the league in rushing with 1,811 yards.
In 147 carries AUSTIN TUNNEY has put up 934 yards this year.
The Lancers took down the Highlanders 56-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. COOKUS ran for 35 yards in the win.
