After a string of five wins, Lakeside's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Woodward Academy War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Mali Nyankori paced Lakeside's offense, picking up five kills. Nyankori got some help from Ty Kleffner and her ten assists.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Woodward Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lakeside nor Woodward Academy have any future games scheduled.
