Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Wins Going Away Against Parkview

Forsyth won the last time they faced Parkview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Forsyth won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 27-25.

Lauren Turner paced Forsyth's offense, picking up 11 kills. Turner got some help from Gianni Oldham and her 18 assists. Josalyn Graham controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 2-10-1. As for Parkview, they dropped their record down to 0-10-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Forsyth and Parkview could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 309th) will meet Hollister (ranked 81st) at 7:30 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Parkview will face off against Waynesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (345 vs. 153).
