The East Buchanan Bulldogs typically have all the answers at home, but on Thursday the Plattsburg Tigers proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Bulldogs with a 64-58 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plattsburg.
Michael "isaia" Howard was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. Howard is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jaiveon Grayson, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Plattsburg is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for East Buchanan, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plattsburg won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. North Platte knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Tigers like a good challenge. As for East Buchanan, they will be playing at home against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
