Everything went their way against Oxbridge Academy as Somerset College Prep Academy made off with a 77-56 win. The result was nothing new for Somerset College Prep Academy, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Somerset College Prep Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Curry, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. Kaeley Ciceron was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Somerset College Prep Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Oxbridge Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerset College Prep Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Lincoln Park Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Park Academy will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome North Broward Prep at 5:00 p.m. on December 14th. North Broward Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Oxbridge Academy in Florida (North Broward Prep is ranked 139th, while Oxbridge Academy is ranked 477th).
