The Vintage Crushers will take on the Petaluma Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Wednesday, Vintage earned a 4-1 win over American Canyon.

American Canyon's batters probably weren't too happy with Angie Rubalcava, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up four walks). Rubalcava has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Vintage's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Morton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Abygail Sims, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Vintage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Petaluma). Everything went their way against Justin-Siena on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-2 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.
Taylor Cook looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Lauren Wilson was incredible, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Bella Hudson was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Vintage's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Petaluma, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Vintage hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Petaluma struggles in that department as they've averaged .390. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Vintage couldn't quite finish off Petaluma in their previous matchup back in April and fell 3-1. Will the Crushers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
