Beaver Local has won four straight games at home, while Madonna has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Beavers will welcome the Blue Dons at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Friday, Beaver Local made easy work of Brooke and carried off a 10-1 victory.

Megan Henrich spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Brenna Jones was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Call, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Beaver Local was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brooke only posted a batting average of .217.
Meanwhile, Madonna made easy work of Bridgeport on Friday and carried off an 8-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Dons in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
The team relied heavily on Madi Owens, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Chloe Orecchio, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Beaver Local has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Madonna, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
Both Beaver Local and Madonna just can't seem to miss. The Beavers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Madonna struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Beaver Local's way against Madonna when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Beaver Local made off with a 14-1 win. Will the Beavers repeat their success, or do the Blue Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
