After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Helix, Ramona was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Tri-City Christian Eagles  7-6.
Ramona got a big performance out of  Evie Brown, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Avery Clowers, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.

 Ramona was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .483. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in April of 2024.
Ramona's victory bumped their record up to 5-10-1. As for Tri-City Christian, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 9-3-1.
 Looking ahead, Ramona will challenge Olympian at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Tri-City Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Santa Fe Christian at 3:30  p.m.  on  the 22nd. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Tri-City Christian 3.2, Santa Fe Christian 4.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
