Kellam has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Grassfield Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Grassfield took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kellam, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Kellam beat Green Run 55-51.
Meanwhile, Grassfield pushed their score all the way to 65 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 80-65 fall against Manor.
Kellam now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grassfield, they bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Kellam didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Grassfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 66-61 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kellam since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
