It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Perkins had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Clearview Clippers 51-7. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won eight contests by 29 points or more so far this season.

Perkins' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Levi Jackson, who rushed for 76 yards and two scores on only eight carries. JoJo Moore was another key back, rushing for 89 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

Perkins didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaiden Hellinger, DJ Johnson, and Connor Smith picked up one apiece. Johnson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Perkins, bringing their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.3 points over those games. As for Clearview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.

Perkins has already played their next matchup, a 31-0 victory against Napoleon on the 7th. Clearview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
