Central Catholic not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 31, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Toledo Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Irish.

Central Catholic not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Toledo Christian between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.

Liza Cooper and Addi Greenwalt certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Cooper had 12 digs, while Greenwalt had five digs and two aces.

Central Catholic picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Toledo Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Central Catholic will head out to take on St. Ursula Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Fighting Irish their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Toledo Christian, they will host Emmanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
