Abbott RVT can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 71-34 win over Wilcox RVT on the road. That looming 71-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Abbott RVT yet this season.
Meanwhile, New Fairfield strolled past New Milford with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 51-37. The win was just what New Fairfield needed coming off of a 62-33 loss in their prior game.
Abbott RVT's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for New Fairfield, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.
Abbott RVT strolled past New Fairfield when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 58-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Abbott RVT since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
