Baseball Game Preview: Andalusia Bulldogs vs. Charles Henderson Trojans

For the second straight game, Andalusia will face off against Charles Henderson. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Andalusia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Charles Henderson will be up against a hot Andalusia team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bulldogs walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Trojans on Thursday.

Kielan Davis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Will Dalton was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Riley Cravey was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.

Andalusia's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Charles Henderson, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-11.
