 In other batting news,  Lilly Holden was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Colie Schinker was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Badger's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Delavan-Darien, their loss was  their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-17.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badger will take on Elkhorn at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Delavan-Darien, they will face off against New Berlin West at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25  runs per game on average), something the Comets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
