Bellevue added to the longest winning streak in 2A/3A KingCo this week by beating Ferndale, 44-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Bellevue took down the Golden Eagles 44-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Lake Washington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Young threw for 73 yards and Braun Inslee had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Elliott Phillips chipped in 77 yards. Court Osborn helped Lake Washington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 19 yards.
The Kangaroos' dynamic duo of Young and Inslee proved tough for Sedro-Woolley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Osborn helped Lake Washington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 19 yards.
Phillips provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Lake Washington fell to the Cubs. Phillips' key target this week was Inslee, who caught 2 passes for 21 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Juanita's Tavin Montgomery and Landyn Milburn have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Montgomery has thrown for 1,722 yards this season, while Milburn has 48 catches for 833 yards. Phillips from Stephen Supple's team leads the league in rushing with 827 yards.
Mount Si made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 534 from 670. The advance stemmed from a 40-7 victory over Oak Harbor last week.
