If there were any doubts why the Bartlett Hawks were heavy favorites Thursday, the team quickly laid those doubts to rest. They blew past the Larkin Royals 67-38 last Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Bartlett, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bartlett's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 56 points in the first half. Larkin wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 56-19 heading into the break. The Hawks couldn't replicate their first half dominance, getting outscored after the break, but not by enough to lose the game.
The win makes it two in a row for Bartlett and bumps their record up to 20-8. Larkin is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.
Bartlett will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glenbard East. Like Bartlett, Glenbard East is also coming into the matchup bolstered by a recent victory. The Royals have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Streamwood on Tuesday. Streamwood also suffered a recent loss, falling 39-25 to Glenbard South.
