The Wickenburg Wranglers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight defeat. They were beaten by Camp Verde 76-37. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wickenburg in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost eight in a row.
Jordan Mcmahon-fullmer was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds for Camp Verde. Mcmahon-fullmer has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Bahe, who scored 18 points along with five assists.
Wickenburg has been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for Camp Verde, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.
Wickenburg will head out on the road to face off against the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camp Verde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chino Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
