Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), Lake Norman Charter still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why Lake Norman Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braylon Irelan. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with five assists. Braden Wilkie was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Lake Norman Charter has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Carson, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Lake Norman Charter will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. As for Carson, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
