While McHenry's win against Prairie Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Wolves 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

McHenry's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Danica McCarthy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

McHenry's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Prairie Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1-2.

Looking ahead, McHenry will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Sycamore at 10:00 a.m. As for Prairie Ridge, they will head out on the road to take on Jacobs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
