Neshannock put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They didn't even let the Freedom Area Bulldogs on the board, marking the Lancers' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Gianna Paglia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also got a hit, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, Gabriella Antuono was a standout: she scored two runs while going 1-for-1. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Gabby Quinn was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Neshannock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .808. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Freedom Area only posted an OBP of .000.

Neshannock pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Freedom Area, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
