Nathan Eastman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Eastman and McCallie will face off against Red Bank at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Eastman's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Blue Tornado's seven-game streak of wins at home.
