The Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian Flying Dutchmen are taking a road trip to square off against the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian barely beat Pipestone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Flying Dutchmen put the hurt on the Arrows with a sharp 22-9 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Flying Dutchmen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Trevin Prins was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with five runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Bleyenberg, who went 3-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Central Minnesota Christian came up short against Yellow Medicine East on Thursday, falling 12-4. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Sting recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Central Minnesota Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Ver Steeg, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Central Minnesota Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian skirted past Central Minnesota Christian 8-7 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024.
