Belle Vernon is 7-1 against Trinity since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Leopards will host the Hillers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
If Belle Vernon beats Trinity with 48 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Leopards beat Ringgold on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 48-6. The win continues a trend for the Leopards in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, while Trinity put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Laurel Highlands. The Hillers took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over the Mustangs. The Hillers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Belle Vernon better keep an eye on Owen Gardner. He was instrumental in Trinity's win, rushing for 121 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries, while also catching one TD. Gardner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards. Trinity now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Belle Vernon, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Belle Vernon has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Trinity struggles in that department as they've been averaging 224.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Belle Vernon couldn't quite get it done against Trinity when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 31-21. Will the Leopards have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other football content.
