We expected El Molino to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Santa Rosa last Friday, and they did. El Molino have to be aching after a bruising 12-43 loss to Santa Rosa. El Molino were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-36.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the matchup between Piner and St. Vincent de Paul was still a pretty decisive one as Piner wrapped it up with a 27-7 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Piner.
Piner's victory lifted them to 3-3 while El Molino's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Piner can add another positive mark to their record or if El Molino can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Piner's step.
