Staley extended the longest winning streak in Suburban - White this week by beating Park Hill South, 31-21. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Fort Osage led the league in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on Raytown. Steven McBee threw for 140 yards and one touchdown and ran for 148 yards in the win.
The Indians' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Willie Penamon helped Fort Osage's passing attack out by catching one ball for 43 yards.
D'vante Mosby was the best wideout in the league this week as Fort Osage defeated the Bluejays. Mosby tallied three receptions for 80 yards.
On the ground, Staley's Trent Hosick has rushed for 1080 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tyler Nugent. The Staley star has 25 catches for 624 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Eric Holmes' team and Fred Bouchard's team. The Indians comes into the matchup ranked 14th in the state, while the Falcons ranks 18th.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Staley takes on Fort Osage. The Falcons' offense has racked up 391 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Indians have allowed only 72 on the year.
McBee of the Fort Osage is only 87 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. McBee has rushed for 913 yards on 135 carries so far this year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Indians and the Falcons face off next week. McBee has thrown for 1386 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Collin Heller has plagued opposing QBs to the tune of nine sacks.
