While Twin Rivers put up plenty of  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Advance. The Royals blew past the Hornets 11-0. Considering the Royals have won 12 matches by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Luke Hester made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out 11 over 5.2 innings pitched. Those  11  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Bo Lilly was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs.  Drew Solomon was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Twin Rivers  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Advance struck out 12 times.
The  win was  the third in a row for Twin Rivers, bringing their record up to 15-7. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Advance, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
 Looking ahead, Twin Rivers is taking a road trip to  square off against Caruthersville  at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. Advance does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
