If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Thomas More. On Friday they will take on Northside at 7:00 PM. Northside will need to watch out since St. Thomas More have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
St. Thomas More put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 56-7 victory over Teurlings Catholic. Among those leading the charge for St. Thomas More was junior Caleb Holstein, who passed for 423 yards and 4 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Holstein's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Northside, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 26-48 walloping at Rayne's hands.
St. Thomas More were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Northside 42-6. Will St. Thomas More repeat their success, or does Northside have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
