Make it eight blowout wins for the Springstead Eagles this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Crystal River 69-23 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Springstead as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Malanie Francis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Francis is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. J'ziyah Munford was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Springstead has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Crystal River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
