The Klein Forest Eagles will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Klein Oak Panthers at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Klein Forest ended up a good deal behind the Bearkats and lost 57-41. Klein Forest has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Klein Oak came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 61-55 W over Tomball Memorial. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Klein Oak's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaiah Walker led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Courtland Guillory, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Klein Forest has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for Klein Oak, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
