Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Citrus Hill). They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the JW North Huskies on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their two-run performance the game before.
Efren Urrea was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Urrea was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Noah Brion was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Riley Corlew, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
