The Abilene Christian Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Abilene Christian's favor as the squad sits on 14 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Warriors have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
Even though Southcrest Christian scored an imposing 59 points on Tuesday, Abilene Christian still came out on top. Abilene Christian took their contest against the 68-59.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Abilene Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaac Presley, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Presley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Camp, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kingdom Prep Academy came up short against the on Friday and fell 57-50. That's two games in a row now that Kingdom Prep Academy has lost by exactly seven points.
Abilene Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Kingdom Prep Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 18 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
Abilene Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over the Warriors in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 63-51. Will Abilene Christian repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
