Given Sun Prairie West's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Middleton is ranked 113th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Chris Davis Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 42 points along with three steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sun Prairie West's points. Another player making a difference was Tavian Crawford, who scored 13 points.
Sun Prairie West's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Middleton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
