In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aiden Shaw, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Knight, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Lincoln Park Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Lincoln Park Academy moved to 4-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Aubrey Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.
