The King Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the El Dorado Golden Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
King extended their postseason success on Friday against Salesian. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mustangs 45-15 on the road. Considering King has won seven contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Joshua Harper had an outrageously good game as he threw for 227 yards and five touchdowns. Blake Bowen also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, El Dorado had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past Redondo Union with points to spare, taking the game 16-0.
King is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for El Dorado, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
