The King City Mustangs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Pacific Grove Breakers at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, King City lost to Seaside at home by a decisive 56-38 margin.
Meanwhile, Pacific Grove's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 60-45 to Milpitas. Pacific Grove has not had much luck with Milpitas recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Pacific Grove had strong showings from Anthony Nimri, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds, and Sergen Serttunc, who scored 11 points.
King City's win bumped their season record to 1-4 while Seaside's loss dropped theirs to 1-1.
Everything went King City's way against Pacific Grove in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as King City made off with a 63-39 win. Will King City repeat their success, or does Pacific Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
