The Rio Americano Raiders will head out to square off against the Inderkum Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Americano will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Rio Americano is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Ponderosa get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Pierce Tully
04/04/25 @ Ponderosa | 1 |
03/28/25 vs Reed | 0 |
03/22/25 @ Bella Vista | 2 |
The result came thanks to Pierce Tully's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Trey Howell-Chase was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Parker Fowler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Rio Americano was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Inderkum hadn't done well against Woodcreek recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Timberwolves 1-0.
Inderkum also got a great performance from Harrison Manning as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. Manning also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Tigers are undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-9 otherwise.
At the plate, Inderkum saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Outing Jr., who went 1-for-4 with one double.
Rio Americano's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Inderkum, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
Rio Americano beat Inderkum 4-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
