Rockford will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Kee at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Rockford had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past West Central 74-18.
Meanwhile, Kee couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-26 punch to the gut against Riceville last week.
Rockford's win lifted them to 1-0 while Kee's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Rockford can add another positive mark to their record or if Kee can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Rockford's step.
