Hempstead suffered their biggest defeat since November 16, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by East Bernard 65-21.
Meanwhile, Van Vleck put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Brazos 63-29 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Van Vleck has posted since December 15, 2023.
Hempstead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Van Vleck, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7.
Hempstead was dealt a bruising 70-35 loss at the hands of Van Vleck when the teams last played on January 2nd. Can Hempstead avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
